The journey by Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur - Tiefencastel – Engadine, with its loop tunnels and dizzyingly high viaducts, is among Europe’s most picturesque and interesting rides in terms of railway technology. Another option is to travel to the Engadine from Landquart via Klosters – Vereina Tunnel and thus reach Pontresina from Zurich HB (main station) in 3 hours 19 min.
